This issue affects XMapTools 4 beta 1 and should be fixed in a future release.
A crash of XMapTools 4 beta 1 can cause severe issues to an internal configuration file. In this case, XMapTools would not open anymore (while the process remains active in the task manager). Deleting/reinstalling the program would not solve the problem.
- Uninstall XMapTools
- On WINDOWS, navigate to C:\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp\UserName\mcrCache9.9\ and eliminate manually the folder XMapTo1 and any other folder with similar name (e.g. 2, 3, etc.). If you cannot find AppData, select “hidden items” in the folder options.
- Install XMapTools
